  • Basics of Supply and Demand (Chapters 4 & 5 of Colander).

  • Business Cycles; Macroeconomic Measurement (unemployment rates, inflation rates, GDP)(Chapters 6 & 7).

  • Productivity and Economic Growth (Chapter 8 of Colander).

  • The Macroeconomic Demand Model (Chapters 9 & 10 of Colander); The Keynesian Revolution .

  • Macroeconomic Policy, including policy debates, monetary policy, and the relationship of inflation to unemployment and economic growth (Chapters 11 & 12 of Colander).
